Three Beautiful Things

  - My Naina and her toothless smile in the morning... just about makes my day every time.

- her passport size photo.. haha and those big naughty eyes with a massive grin! Lil gunda!

- i hate when she cries.. but she does look adorable with those big tears..

  - My N and V have quite a chemistry. they go for morning strolls together.. love this ritual.

- V seems happy now after a lot of stress... what else can I ask for.

- my sibling call her everyday to chat with her... how cute.

 - My father and my daughter.. best friends it seems. so adorable.. they chat and play together.. she adores him!

- V looked so cute in his green shirt. I <3 him!

- my mom and her food.. no matter what i do, i cannot acquire this skill :)

- She has so much to say.. my daughter, my joy <3

- yummy food cooked by my mother.. aaloo gobhi sabzi with parantha.. loved it!

- I ate jalebi after almost 2 years! Thanks mom dad for getting it for me! 

 - I have spent considerable amount of time thinking about slow life and mindful living.. and I am starting to do that in a big way! Thankful for the awareness!

- Lil monkey smiles at me all day long! Either she loves me too  much or thinks I am a clown.. haha. Either ways I am happy!

- Exploring the area I live in slowly and I love it here! Peaceful

 - that toothless laugh.. yes she laughs :) 

- she adores her papa... one can see it in her eyes... papa also absolutely loves her.

- just a nice slow day and life is what I wanted and I have <3

 - What is this new language of screeching and brr  brr.. haha love it!

- she got scared of a table moving... adorable lil munchkin

- the smiles at night when i pick her up.. makes it all worth it..

 - I cannot forget the reaction she had today when she saw a big red and yellow flower! Literally pounced on it! haha

- I had been procrastinating about cleaning my wooden cookware and tableware... finally did it and it looks super clean and new!

- Just today, with V and N and papa mummy...

 - Her new screeching noises. not sure how she learnt that but its beyond cute :)

- She said ma <3

- I love her bonding with my parents.. while they obviously adore her... she loves them <3

 - calling out from her crib to me.. so adorable!

- is it mean to say that she looks absolutely edible when she cries - you know the fake kind of crying!

- yet another recipe that I tried today and it was good.. my family enjoyed it! Pav bhaji, mumbai style!

  - I tried this new recipe - Kolkata style veg cutlet, and it was a huge success fr breakfast!

- I also prepared Chicken biryani from scratch and V loved it! yay!

- My naina loves her music.. her smiles and giggles with all the cocomelon songs... haha

 - She says maa now.. not sure if she understands the meaning of it... but nevertheless she says it :) 

- She has discovered her fingers and is super amused by it. Seems like she is always counting something... haha adorable 

- Everytime she hears the word papa, there's this huge grin :D She adores him!

 - Took a break from blogging which wasn't planned but life got busy in the most adorable way... my naina <3

- Naina and nani relationship is so adorable! They talk, chat, argue, and just absolutely love each other and I am witnessing it first hand.

- I am so proud of V! Braveheart and just a good human! So happy!

 - I really enjoyed lunch today. Humble yet delicious- Khichadi.

- Play time with NJ! Wouldn't miss it for anything in the world.

- I am really looking forward to my balcony makeover! Yay!

 - I am reading the book 'Happiest baby on the block' to get my baby on a bit of a sleep schedule! Well, first few wins were to tell her the difference between day and night! and this baby gets it. My puppy <3

- Mom made khichadi for me, yum!

- My puppy and I sleep in the same bed with a co-sleeper in the afternoon. She makes some really adorable faces at me! haha

 - such big and expressive eyes! already a looker <3

- Morning glory is in full glory and blooms every morning! What a view!

- I really enjoy home improvement projects! Recently changed the utensil rack in the kitchen to a ceramic one! love the change.

 - happy birthday my papa! My hero and my support system. I <3 you!

- chinese food yay! So happy!

- inspite of all the changes that life has brought along.. i am feeling so thankful and happy in life. Wouldn't trade this for anything.

 - Planning for my dad's birthday with his gifts and fav meal etc. I don't remember the last time I celebrated his bday with him. Super excited!

- I am still managing to make my home a comfortable and happy place for everyone! We eat at least one meal together.

- really horrid times in India and the world is facing on a daily basis, but am I selfish to feel this happy everyday! Well at least I am honest.

 - we had a rough day today which was emotional and challenging.. but I managed to take control and got everyone move past the tension.. I like my family and love taking care of them.

- my friend Anisha, has been a pillar of strength for me.. love her to the core.

- I had ice cream today after one year!

  - My dad is loving this new role in his life.. he wakes up excited and happy planning for her. makes me smile!

- I received a call from a distant relative and was pleasantly surprised how she mentioned and praised me for my resilience. Thank you :)

- V still looking out for me and my pains and aches.. thanks as always!

 - observing similarities between me and my kid.. its so amusing.. 

- those dainty lil fingers.. that she moves constantly, will she be a musician? Lets see!

- I love it when she smiles and frowns involuntarily in her sleep! So funny!

 - Sometimes it feels unreal.. almost like I am living a dream. and then seeing her makes it all real and full of happiness!

- settling in slowly with the idea of parenthood. Liking my new role.

- her beautiful eyes!

- Even though my diet is still restricted, I do feel slightly more normal now. Thank god for small mercies.

- potentially my last doctor's check up in this regard. Phew!

- driving with my love, talking about her.... our future plans. How exciting!

- I see V grinning and smiling more these days.. joy!

- my sister calls her everyday, twice.. so cute.

- Some relief for my parents and some very well deserved monetary rewards in their life! Happy

 - I have started holding her a bit more confidently..

- Spending time with her in the afternoons, changing, feeding soothing... Loving it.

- Watching her sleep is my new favorite hobby!  

 - Day 10 of her in our lives.. such exciting times. 

- I saw her hiccup and it is adorable... my puppy.

- I love the sound she makes when drinking her milk!

- those beautiful earrings my parents gave me... love it.

- I have a role model in front of me to emulate! My mother.

- Life has been kind to me... lets acknowledge that and be grateful.

 - Her smile in the morning! It feels she knows me.

- She also talks in her sleep... haha maybe to some imaginary friends.

- watching this lil tiny human grow everyday is so satisfying!

- Last entire year, I was challenged to the core... but I survived it. Not only survived but thrived! I feel deeply rewarded and proud of how I have managed myself.

- learning to be a parent comes with good bad and ugly but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

- I love those tiny lil feet <3

 - watching V transform into his new role.. brings a smile to my face..

- my siblings are so excited about her.. i love that...

- what would i do without my mom! she is such a dedicated mother... I aspire to be like her..

  - that lil face, every morning.. has quickly become the joy of my life..

- i see my flowers grow from my bed, in the middle of it all, grateful to my father.

- some respite from the indian summer with rain and cool breeze..

  - I look and feel so different... but good different. I am liking this version of myself...

- She makes the cutest lil sounds in her sleep... 

- and that smile! worth everything!

 - After a slightly chaotic day 1, we found our rhythm... this will be a work in progress but we still adjusted quite well.

- Everyday I get to know this wonderful lil person in my life.. small joys!

- lil feet, gosh... heart melts.

 - We will be home soon, today! All of us! Cannot be more relieved. 

- In the middle of a pandemic and all the chaos that could have come our way, this was fairly smooth. Thankful :)

- My family.. overjoyed.. such wonderful messages and wishes.. and the support- didi, VJ, Papa mom and V. 

 - I can sit upright! Phew... thank you for small mercies..

- Which also meant I held her for the first time.. Cannot explain the feelings.

- Lovely eyes.... my god! I cannot get over it!

 - I saw her and its a her... my puppy. She is so tiny and so real. She cried her lungs out! Gosh... I cannot believe she is here.

- My mom and husband.. waiting to see me... patiently.. overjoyed and relieved. Well, I am too.

- She was placed next to me, her body touching my face... so soft.. so cute. I am absorbed with feelings and emotions I never felt before :) 

 - Final day and I can see a hint of excitement and a lot of nervousness on everyone's faces.

- Final prep is now done. Feeling good.

- Sleeping well tonight. Time to meet my puppy :)

 - Such a relaxing Sunday with least amount of activities and agenda. 

- I ate my favorite food, Chinese. The Indian and the much superior version of it, from my fav restaurant.

- My V. constantly checking on me. I think he worries for me. I don't want that. But he knows me too well. 

 - I have 2 days to go before things change for good. I have decided to focus on myself and keeping calm these 2 days and working on my mental peace.

- Final tests are done... everything seems to be going smoothly.

- As much as I hate hospitals and needles and blood tests etc.. this has to be done and I have to go through this. To ensure my family is sane and less worried, keeping calm!

 - Final working day today and my final handover session... phew!

- Goodbyes and good wishes from everywhere... pouring in!

- I had the best and the most relaxed nap in months after my handover. Feeling more settled.

 - The excitement and anticipation I see in everyone's eyes is incredible... counting days, waiting patiently.. for May 11th.

- There's this secret chat/mores code type thing that has developed between puppy and mom.. it is so cute... they will be good friends.. i can feel it already!

- the outside world is so troubled and full of despair... but this lil thing has helped me survive the greatest tragedy our generation has witnessed in about a 100 years.

 - Exactly 1 week to go and it will be here. I'll finally be able to hold it.

- The good wishes that have come in from everywhere... so thankful :) 

- kicks and knocks have become more prominent... puppy <3

  - Aparajita has finally started climbing the ropes :D

- I am so thankful for my parents being here. 

- Amaltas tree with beautiful yellow flowers. Can see from my window. So lovely.

 - Final week today, absolutely relieved and much needed handover sessions finally scheduled. I still despise the last minute work, but i am relieved.

- I am counting everyday and minute till May 11th :) 

- Thanks for being there V :)  This has been tough and it was very tough in the beginning, but we made it mostly peacefully.

 -  relaxed and a quiet Sunday with little to do. 

- This is my final week at work before a long leave. Looking forward to it.

- My puppy and its antics! Such a sweetheart... almost feels like its swimming in there...haha

- Super duper relieved about my birth plan.. now it feels settled and solid. 

- I love the phrase- everything is normal and well... esp when my pup is involved. This is the last time we see you in a scan... yay!

- drive back home with my V. Talking and chatting about our future... :) Cherishing every bit of it.

 - Breezy Sunday morning for a change as it has gotten very very hot in India. 

- Lock down is usually boring and mundane... but thanks to some slow living practices that I have recently tried to adopt, which by the way is a huge change for me, 

- Evening routine of chit chat, massage time and imaginary details of my puppy.. I love this time with my mum.

 - Weekend has begun with some nice home cooked meals and plenty of rest and pampering... forever grateful.

- Morning glory plant has the most stunning colored flowers... thriving happily.

- There were concerns over indoor palms which seem to have taken care of itself. Thankfully.

 - I witnessed something hilarious today... my mom is the cutest! she loves desserts.. the most amazing expressions when I asked her to remove something from the cart! haha

- My darling husband.. V, so tolerant. I am increasingly mental these days and I try to control it, but I must give credit where its due <3. I love you!

- This lil pup... so much joy and fun comes with it... everyone is waiting! You stay safe and come home nicely baby <3

 - Woke up to a lot a lil thap thap and kicks and bumps.. what a cutie monkey I have. Keep at it lil thing, It's my most fav part of the day!

- Dolphin movements- hahaha.. like a lil submarine! what a cutie!

- we got some essentials for a pooja for my pup.. i am excited about it :)

 - Went for a walk and met Eddy, the cutie lil beagle in my apartment complex. It ran and jumped on my... Met my pup also briefly. Adorable.

- Now we are dreaming of the day when we can get my pup another pup. how cute will they be together.

- Another walk and some more conversations with my V. What would I do without him.. He has a lot on his mind but hardly talks about it. I hope and wish he is not overly worried or overthinking things... I do wish he talks to me and shares what he feels... but that wont happen. That's just not him. I have made my peace with it. I do keep an eye on him though!

- I woke up at 5 am thinking about the food today. I am always uber excited about south indian food day!- Day full of goodness- Idli, Sambhar, Chutney, Dosa and some more dosa! I overate and slept.

- Strange movements which made me nervous... but thankfully my parents and husband are here <3

- By evening time, things were normal and peaceful again. 

- Baby's journal is finally here, after a super long wait. And its the cutest thing ever! I cannot wait to record everything this lil monkey does. Exciting times ahead.

- Some adorable lil bath toys also arrived. cannot wait to use it with my pup. <3

- A lil walk around the park with my monkey... I asked him a heavy duty question. Funny thing is, I never got an answer, just a bunch of funny reactions. He is adorable. I also love how simple he is.. 

 - I ate khichadi, after one year! I am so content and satisfied! I know its not a big deal and most people don't even like this dish... but for me it was a very satisfying meal. Thanks Ma!

- Puppy's blanket is now done, courtesy, Didi. So cute.. definitely a keepsake.

- Feeling much much better after a week of recovery! I feel somewhat myself again.

- waking up to this beautiful cooing by a Koyal! Please remember we live in a city, in India... so these things are a luxury!

- Saw this much awaited movie with my mom on Netflix... left me with some thoughts about relationships and life.. was a serious movie.. but did have a positive ending to it.

- Aparajita has sprouted and people in my house are elated! We all love plants.

  - Mid week holiday! yay! Love this flexi holiday option in my company.

- Walking around, gathering cuttings for my home garden.

- Earlier this year, I planted cuttings for propagation in small containers all over the house. I am so happy and excited to see the growth <3 Plants bring me a lot of joy!

  - Slow recovery day with lots of rest and sleeping and chilling.

- First toy has arrived! yippeee

- white and yellow sweater with a hat! gosh what a cute set! Love it mom <3

  - Time to meet my pup and hear some good stuff about the developments. And as I had imagined, everything is well <3

- Quiet drive to and from home with V. These moments have become very few because of covid... so yeah, I do cherish whatever we have.

- Relief! Finally... had a rough time last few days. Finally some solutions.

  - Have started playing games this lockdown. and thoroughly enjoying it.

- My pup waits every evening, it seems, for its massage. Already spoilt.

- Morning glory plants in all its glory! Yay!

 - Negative news all around me and these are dreadful times, but my lil pup changes everything for me! Everyday, Every minute! full of smiles

- Beautiful breezy evening with rain and thunder! so thankful.

- Thankful for my mom, hasn't been easy, but she is around.

 - I had a long lazy and heavy breakfast. 2 eggs sunny side up, some toast, cheese, a cup of tea and some watermelon... Happiness!

- An equally sumptuous lunch made by my mother. Nothing can beat it. Teesi Kaddu, Gobhi matar ki sabzi, roti and raita! I am literally in heaven!

- It's Friday and I am done with work for the week! Phew!

 - Literally 3-4 items left to be finalized before the big day. Feeling good and somewhat prepared. I hear that nobody is fully prepared, so not worried about it at all. Just excited!

- We had the most amazing lunch today that my mom made.. daal, chawal, nenua, kathal and pyaaz bhajiya and baingan tarua... this is as bihari as it gets with a lil bit of mumbai in there.

- my cutie V, he is researching about baby care. I found out accidentally. But he never really talks about it. I guess I have to make my peace with the fact that he wont always come and tell me what he is upto... wont express everything and every thought that passes his mind, unlike me... but he is more than what I have ever wanted in my life.. big hug to my darling husband <3

  - I am very excited about trying out this delicious looking recipe for my family today! Chicken burger but with a twist! Yay!

- I just hung out with my parents for hours in the morning! Slow slow day at work!

- My V & P - what a cute combo. V talks randomly with P and they together tease me! This will be my life I suppose.. i am so happY

 - lazy morning spent watching videos and tv. I like a late day at work, gives me plenty of time to finish the household chores, laze around and then start working! Wish everyday was like that.

- watching my plants grow and thrive gives me a lot of joy! must thank my parents who are looking after it. 

- i walked more than usual yesterday and I felt it was a big win for me :D

 - My heart is full of love and warmth when I see my mom and V building the crib together. Pretty much how I imagined it.

- kicks and knocks after making me wait for almost half a day! Very welcome!

- Room looks set up with lil things and Knick knacks also arranged! So exciting.

- today is the exact opposite of what yesterday was. A day full of various agenda and action items. But I do feel productive and V took care of most of it.

- Cutest crib arrived today. I am so thankful and grateful for all the love and blessings for our pup already!

- Lil puppy clothes that have now been washed and sanitized fully! Again.. haha.. but it feels like i have now done my job!

  - Agenda less day with very little to do. 

- A brisk walk in the evening.. trying to enjoy the crisp air or very lil of it that is left.

- saw some wild roses in our garden while walking around. So beautiful and unruly!

 - I am excited to feed my parents some of the new dishes I have learnt, like tomato rasam and curd rice. South Indian food day is my fav! Yummy

- Looking cute V in your Tee and shorts <3

- Much awaited weekend begins now.

 - Took the day off to rest and I highly recommend it for everyone! What are we saving these leaves for!

- Crazy discussion about puppy clothes and mattress, pillows and other wonderful things. what adorable stuff!

 - Socks, mittens and booties <3

- V getting all possessive about the pink outfit for puppy... hahaha.. so cute. I love the outfit, will make puppy wear it when V isn't around. Fun times are coming!

- New recipe for Chilli chicken... everyone enjoyed it. 

- Today is a zero meeting day! woohoo :) 

- puppy clothes got delivered! Gosh so cute. 

- puppy jumping and kicking and making waves... my mom is thrilled.

 - Having my parents around is such a nice change of pace for me, enjoying everyday.

- when you have a productive day at work which ensures your week is smooth- yay! love it when that happens. 

- Baingan Mooli sabzi that mom made- delish!

- This new incense stick smells awesome. My mom got this for me. Smells like aqua!

- all this puppy stuff that arrives almost everyday- makes me so happy, emotional and excited about our future.

- My lovely partner and all his antics! Today was extremely cute as he had to stay home and not play cricket - which in his world is a big sacrifice. I saw the puppy face and the sulking but I really couldn't do much.

  - Monkey's expressions and ideas during the scan! How cute! This is my fav day of the month.

- This is my fav appointment ever! Meeting and seeing my pup grow. Makes me emotional and happy <3

- It feels so rewarding when I hear all the doctors tell me that I did well.

 -Yay! Puppy stuff has been ordered! so excited to have done this. Now waiting!

- Long weekend with lots of yummy food and lazing around.

- chit chatting with mom :) Always 

 - Its been 3 months of writing everyday, consistently. I am happy and I hope this will continue in the future. something tells me it will continue as I do have beautiful and wonderful things lined up!

- My dad constantly understands me! I am grateful for that.

 - I am very excited about April 2021. My prep begins now. Yay!

- Today's lunch is some excellent junk/street food from Delhi. After ages! so excited. 

- beautiful breeze every evening makes the day nicer and fuller and complete. 

- My puppy woke me up today with its adorable lil feet <3 I love you, my pup.

- both of them going for a walk. how cute. and exploring the market.

- Red lilies in the garden, also a very pleasant evening walk :)

- They are here. Yay! So happy to see them healthy and happy :)

- When people enjoy my food, it makes me excited and want to cook more.

- Chit chats and conversations with them. 

 - Extremely excited about my parents visiting, especially this time around :)

- Afternoon naps.. holding hands.. haha... such a lazy Sunday!

- Cheat meals. Love a little bit of cheat meal every now and then.

 - New sheet, fresh and clean smelling sheets do make me smile.

- I have always enjoyed doing some mundane house work and taking care of smaller things at home. I highly recommend it for people to feel good and satisfied with some basic chores in life. No need looking for more things.

- Some more conversations between my monkey and I. Priceless moments.

- Long weekend is here... as the day closes.

- Appreciation for the food I make... so nice and cute of him to say.

- Relaxed and awesome Friday, with some cricket and burgers!

  - So excited about deciding names and planning future. My V & My puppy <3

- Working from home has been challenging for some, but I really found it productive and has brought us closer. 

- Temple bells in the evening and the breeze... so soothing today.

 - Its been a great week , work wise..increments, awards and degree! So happy and satisfied with everything!

- Extremely excited about my dinner plans tonight!

- Very happy to see my plants grow all happy and healthy! Lots of love to all the plants :) They bring joy and happiness to me

- I woke up feeling terrible today, health wise and just decided to rest up and take the day off.. Feeling so good after a day of napping and resting. Taking a personal day is underrated. One must!

- Early morning monkey behavior by my puppy <3 Cutie pie! 

- I feel we have become better at understanding and communicating with each other, always a learning curve in a relationship!

 - I now have organized our tax and investment plan. So happy and I feel productive. 

- I won an award :) Exciting to get some recognition. 

- Showered with love and blessings from all over. Thankful and grateful

 - Woke up this morning knowing V had a cricket match. I really enjoy seeing him so happy and excited about it. Like a child who has some treasure that no one else has. I will continue to support and encourage him to play as this is his true passion and good for his health. :)

- My Enchiladas turned out very well. so happy.. this will now feature as a regular dinner option.

- I am so proud of my friend Anisha. <3

- I have begun making my puppy list.. woohoo... feels good and organized. 

- I am delighted to have completed the banking work today. Thanks to my fav person V. Muaah!

- A nice foot bath, so relaxing and soothing after a relatively tiring day!

- It is my sister's birthday. My first friend in this world. Huge influence on who I am today :)

- excited about the various items on the menu i have for tonight- Bruschetta, chilli cheese toast, chicken 65, dahi bada and some aaloo tikki... sounds good right? Tastes good too.

- Friday is here and I cannot wait for this crazy work week to be over.

 - my chilli seeds have also sprouted. so happy!

- I ordered my sister's bday gift. She actually wanted a bean bag for her room and this is what I ordered. So bizarre and funny! She is super cute. 

- I saw understanding from him today when i was losing it. Thank you for being you <3

  - I have now finished all three of my courses at work. Yay! no more crazy assignments and deadlines.

- Lunch hour with my love, so precious. WFH has so many perks.

- We finally have a savings plan in place which should work. 

 - favorite time of the day is always mornings and these days its extra special. Chatting with puppy, cuddling and just silly things..

- my dear dear monkey... makes me smile thinking about you always, I found myself finishing up some housework and inadvertently thinking about some comments I heard this morning from you. Vertically challenged ones.. haha <3. 

- my to-do list for today is done and it is only 2 pm.. yay! What a productive day!

 - one of my bougainvillea plants is now restored and is happy and healthy. Hoping and waiting for the other one to also be better. Fingers crossed!

- All the seeds that I sowed last week in my kitchen and flower garden has sprouted! - Lettuce, Tomato, Red Spinach, Morning Glory, Lavender etc.

- Today morning has been extremely entertaining, my monkey decided to do some house painting, which is so nice of him, but he destroyed everything that came his way.. haha.. I started commenting on this every 5 mins and he was so annoyed with me. Cannot help laughing about it still.

  - I love mornings. and an early morning chat with my papa <3

- V told me I have become a fantastic cook! So nice of him to say that. I do enjoy cooking..

- Fallen pink petals in my balcony... what a beautiful sight. 

 - Meeting the doctor and hearing wonderful words like - you both are fine and you are doing well etc is just the best feeling. Its been a hard, long wait but simply worth it.

- V driving us back home and saying just the sweetest things.. <3

- I miss my sister around but we had one month together! I don't remember when that happened last!

  - Stunning morning with black cloud overcast and a bit of a drizzle. Sky looked beautiful.

- My puppy was so active this morning. Adorable lil thing.

- Happy Friday! Its a day to just finish up everything for the week and relax.

- I like it when my house smells good.

- Nice fun and happy dinner with just the 4 of us :)

- Peaceful morning and the fresh smell of rain. It rained last night..  out of nowhere, which I don't particularly enjoy. But it sure smells fresh and clean.

- I have now planted some seeds for my flower garden and also kitchen garden. Waiting :)

- just so excited about what coming up :) Planning our lives together.. its not always easy and pleasant but i still like it! I wouldn't trade it with anything right now!

 - more realizations have come about today. talk less, listen more and ignore :) 

- 30 mins of kicks and knocks this morning.. hahaha... paglu puppy.

- a sense of settling down has dawned. finally.

 - My puppy, oh my world! what a cutie <3 what a day it has been... from a lil cashew nut to 1.3 kilos... yay!

- Spring is in the air. Delhi looks amazing with all the flowers everywhere! 

- I got some more plants... like a greedy person.. haha. Just couldn't help myself.

 - Happy 15 my love <3, Wonder hoe life would have been if I hadn't met you 15 years ago today. Well, I don't really need to wonder, do I? 

- My puppy now reacts to its papa <3 Cannot wait for our family to come together.

- an hour long chat with my fav, m mom... cannot wait to get together this year!

  - My puppy played for about 30 mins this morning, seemed like it was running.. made me laugh... haha

- I made my mom's sooji idli recipe. Turned out to be delicious. Not as good as hers's but good enough. It's also my mom's birthday today. yay!

- He is back here and I like it like that. 

 - Designing and dreaming about our future... that's a regular occurrence now in life. I love that.

- I put some rose petals in a pot with some water in it. beautiful fragrance all over my house. Love it.

 - Plant shopping... finally. And it looks beautiful. I am now looking for some minimal and comfortable furniture to complete it. Work in progress and will keep you posted.

 - I got my urli pot today. Yay. It looks lovely in my home. Exactly how I imagined it. We filled it up with rose petals and water and it smells great.

- I also got a 100% completion and grade on my course. So happy to see it.

 - My long drive expedition with V was for a serious and sad reason but I ended up liking the drive. He is so sweet.

- Puppy kicked Didi, her expression was priceless!

  - I have dreamt of living a slow life even though I live in one of the most busiest city in India and probably the world. And I do. Its strange to feel this calm and quiet throughout the day and being present.

 - I had a brilliant day with a bunch of new things I tried for my home and kitchen. Made some papads, some pickles and some snacks. What a productive morning :)

- My puppy and I have the best time together. I cannot believe how quickly I am so attached to this creature. <3

- Today morning was dull and foggy, the kind of cold that I don't particularly enjoy, but I do want to say that winters will last another month. So yes, I am grateful to have this season for a bit longer.

  - comfort food is the best thing on cold winter day. I made some daal chawal and gobhi bhujia. Also, tried eff muffins finally and enjoyed it a lot.

-  Soaking in the sun every noon has become a splendid habit which I look forward to now.

  - the first seeds in my herb garden are now sprouting. woohoo!

-  I have been regularly blogging for the past 1 week. :)

- new cozy blanket that I had bought a while ago. Super soft and warm, just what we need.

 - I tried a new recipe, chicken and mushroom soup, so delicious and easy to make. 

-  Sun finally came out, soaking in the sun rays at noon, I did take 15 mins break to just do that.

- just a peaceful evening with no agenda. Wrapped up my work, finished my chores, all in the morning and day time. I love it when that happens. Good night!

- baking is fun! I baked some cheesy pasta which was yummy, I was told.

-  I am really enjoying these organic India tulsi tea, its soothing.

- that fresh laundry smell. aah to die for.

    - I finished yet another DIY project.  This one is my favorite. I made some homemade cleaners which are eco friendly and clean effectively.

- A very peaceful Sunday morning where I could just enjoy my tea, bagel and my plants.

- just those papaya, golu, V conversations. I love it! 

   - India Vs Australia cricket matches are always special. And test matches are my fav form of cricket. To be able to constantly discuss this with my brother on chat, is something of a ritual now and I truly enjoy it.

- A hot bowl of ramen on a cold afternoon for lunch. Delish!

- Watching sunset from my bed! Isn't that lucky?

  - It exciting to see my husband get super excited about his photo wall. He is such a brilliant artist, a great photographer. I could see a glint in his eyes when we were discussing his photo wall this evening.

- I loved my lil DIY project of up-cycling an old shelf  with some fresh polish and a contact paper. Looks better than I expected.

- My family photo wall is up. Happy. One more project done! 

 - I finally set up my kitchen garden. I am growing some herbs and now eagerly waiting to see it grow. Gardening is pure joy.

 Its been a while since I wrote. But I haven't failed to notice 3 beautiful things in my life all these years!
